The Swallow St George Hotel is a large Edwardian building located in the centre of Harrogate, only 200 meters from shops and the spa town's famous Turkish Baths. The 90 guestrooms have traditional English style décor, with floral bedspreads and antique style dark wood furniture. Leeds Bradford Airport is 18 miles and a 45 minute drive from the hotel. The 757 Airlink bus service links the airport with Leeds train station. From there, guests can take a train to Harrogate. Alternatively, taxis are available at the airport terminal and should cost approximately £20. Harrogate can be explored on foot or via the extensive town bus service. A car would be useful to explore further afield.
